Cutting Carbon, Cutting Waste, Cultivating Futures...

Improving ourselves. Improving our communities.

Recycle & Grow is an innovative recycling social enterprise project supporting both the commercial and public sector whilst providing life skills, recognised training, work experience, and employment opportunities to those farthest from the labour market.

The improvement in the customer’s recycling rates and reduced impact on the environment often makes Recycle & Grow not only a preferred supplier but business critical.  Recycle & Grow can tackle multiple methods and products for recycling in the plastics, rubber and metal industry.

We are committed to sustainable, long term recycling and diverting waste product from landfill. We reduce, reuse, and recycle where possible to minimise our carbon footprint.

Our approach provides training and learning opportunitites to those with little or no formal qualifications. This method of learning increases self esteem, self confidence and helps the individual in achieving their ambitions. People can benefit from life skills, job skills, real work experience and the opportunity to receive recognised qualifications

For the areas in which Recycle & Grow operates the impact can be across the whole community and wider environment. The organisation promotes community projects and interest in and use of recycling, assists community schemes by providing expertise, advice on recycling, equipment and a team to work.

Recycle & Grow’s core service is recycling plastics.  Recycling plastic makes both economic and environmental sense as every tonne of product recycled is a tonne of product kept out of landfill.  PVCU’s molecular structure allows it to be recycled indefinitely, reducing the need for ‘new’ products made from oil.
